Jacksonville is one of the most densely populated cities in the state of Florida. The city is located in the northern part of the peninsula. A successful geographic location makes Jacksonville almost invulnerable to the might of the strong winds that rage in Florida. Over the past two centuries, the city has recorded only one case of a violent hurricane.

A huge influence on the way of life of the townspeople was rendered in due time by religious communities, but the developing tourism gradually changed the thinking and priorities of the inhabitants of Jacksonville. There have been huge changes in the infrastructure of the city, the kind of entertainment and cultural events has changed. Significantly improved service and the market of services began to develop. A turning point in Jacksonville's public life was the emergence of the local football team "Jaguars" (Jacksonville Jaguars). In 1993, the team became a member of the National Football League.
