We have an extensive regional network with over 40 lawyers practising from offices in Leicester, Market Harborough and Hinckley. In 2000 Tim Gladdle took over as Senior Partner. Tim is a broadly-based commercial lawyer and has been at the firm since 1981.
Following the expansion of our commercial and private client operations we relocated our head office to Spa Place on Humberstone Road in the city's cultural quarter. This has facilitated our growth and continues to reflect our commitment to providing our clients with the full complement of legal services.

Bearing in mind that it was a very stressful time – my father is 91 and my mum is 89 – and my father was just going into a dementia home which meant that my mum couldn’t stay on her own in her home. Mum was becoming more and more distressed on her own and my sister and I found that Methodist Homes was ideal for her. When we gave Janet a time schedule we didn’t think that she would be able to make it, especially as it was coming up to Christmas and I don’t know how she managed it but she did. It felt like Janet prioritised our purchase which made Christmas so much easier for us, knowing that we could get our mum moved and safe. They seem to speak my language. I recently dealt with another solicitor and they used so much language that I just didn’t understand, which makes everything so much more difficult. When she explained that they have a specialist family side, I noticed that the others that I had looked at didn’t have this and it automatically clicked with me that a firm with a separate department purely for family issues was likely to be a good one to go with. One of my friends recommended Bray & Bray in 2007 when we bought our first house. She also used Bray & Bray to purchase her house and said only good things about the firm. We were happy with the service we received then and decided to use Bray & Bray again. In 2007 – Lyn was warm, welcoming and very professional. We appreciated it. She also provided a lot of useful information and answered our multiple questions (we were first buyers then).
In 2014 – I first dealt with a lady from the Leicester office (she was the first to answer my “general enquiries” email). When a meeting was confirmed, we would need to travel at least a couple of times to Leicester, so we asked if it was possible for the file to be transferred to Market Harborough and this was done immediately and with the usual professionalism. We were again working with Lyn in Market Harborough this year.

There were many complex issues that came about due to a business being involved in the funding, and all these issues were dealt with quickly and professionally.
