CB Training and Solidus Solutions join forces Recruiting Forklift Operators

CB Training have been working in partnership with Solidus Solutions (Corby) on a number of occasions throughout 2015 with their Forklift Driver requirement process.

In the past the company have found that valuable time and money have been spent recruiting forklift operators who provide written information and detail of their past operating history in line with their CV however once recruitment has been completed the results of the drivers operating skills and abilities have been below expectations, resulting in further interview and recruitment processes.

Due to the operating of forklift trucks being a major practical ability this was identified that within their interview process there was no confirmation of the practical ability of the operator.

CB Training has been providing a joint interview service which entail's the standard internal verbal interview accompanied by a practical ability interview with one of the CB Training team, this allowing CB Training to provide their expertise, advice and guidance on the practical driving ability of the interviewee.

The results have been overwhelming for Solidus Solutions meaning that they are recruiting a more reliable and efficient forklift driver for their specific requirements. This service is enhancing the initial recruitment process and the ability to attract professional and well experienced forklift drivers.

CB Training are now offering this service throughout their client base and have a view to enhance this additional service.
